The Electro Detectors Millennium Range of Radio Wireless Fire Alarm Systems uses the latest in micro processor technology and the advancements in radio communications principles. The EDA-M100 radio wireless fire alarm panel is capable of supporting up to 3000 radio / wireless fire alarm devices and accomodating 999 zones. Using two frequencies as a means for communication, as many as 50 control and booster panels can be networked together ensuring that speed of communication across even the largest system is almost instantaneous. The panel features a highly visible 8 line LCD display for fire and fault information, battery backed event log and the option of a printer.
The EDA-M200 has been designed for smaller systems where the necessity for special operations is not required. Although still capable of supporting 999 devices in 20 zones.
At the heart of each device is a powerful microprocessor and only after intelligent analysis of all input data will a device activate the panel. Two independent lithium cells giving a battery life of up to 7 years power all devices.
When a radio wireless device battery pack is approaching the end of its life the panel gives a 60 day warning and should communication be lost from any particular device the panel will report the condition.
