Overhead Door Closers
The Safety Centre can offer a full range of Overhead Door Closers. The door closers are 24V and are designed to be used on Fire Doors. The function of the Overhead Door Closers allows the fire door to be held open during the normal use of the building. However when the fire alarm is activated or 24V is removed from the overhead door closer the door will then close, creating fire seperation zones. These units are designed to be used together with a 24V power supply unit which will provide the power necessary to hold the door open.
The range of overhead door closers from The Safety Centre comprises of Briton / Ingersol Rand and Geze Door Closers. The Briton range of overhead electro magnetic door closers features the ever reliable Briton 996 Door Closer, which we offer in two variant; the Briton 996 Fig 1/61 Electro Magnetic Overhead Door Closer and the Briton 996 Fig 66 Electro Magnetic Overhead Door Closer.
